Scope of service

ReparaHogar provides residential maintenance and repair services at home in Mexico City (CDMX) and the State of Mexico (Estado de México). Our services include minor plumbing, residential electrical work, roof waterproofing, water filter installation, furniture assembly and general handyman tasks.

For work requiring specialist certification — such as deep gas line repairs, industrial three-phase electrical installations or structural work — we refer clients to the appropriate certified specialist. We will always tell you clearly if something falls outside our scope before any visit is booked.

Quotation and variable pricing

Every quote is given before work begins, based on what is visible at the time of the diagnostic visit. If additional problems are found during the repair that were not visible beforehand (hidden pipework, concealed electrical faults, structural damage behind walls), we will inform you before continuing and agree the new cost with you.

If you decide not to proceed with the service after the diagnostic visit, a call-out fee applies for the visit itself. This will be communicated to you before the visit is booked.

Pre-existing damage

ReparaHogar is not responsible for pre-existing damage that was not detectable at the time of the diagnostic visit, nor for faults in materials or installations unrelated to the work carried out by our technician.

Language and communication

We offer full service communication in English via WhatsApp — including quotes, scheduling, job updates and follow-up. All quotes are provided in writing before any work begins.
